Decoration Service July 14, 2024 at 2:30 pm
As was customary in years past, we hope to meet visitors who are invited to place flowers or remembrances at the gravesites of their loved ones prior to the service. You can take the self-guided tour, chat with old friends and meet new ones. The service is planned to be inside the church. Please bring any items you wish to display on the memorabilia table. Refreshments will be served outside, weather permitting.

We at Pinedale recognize that we are located on the traditional lands of the Mississaugas, a branch of the large Anishinabek nation. This land was ceded in the Williams Treaty of 1923.
Pinedale Cemetery is a small rural burial ground located on gravel side-road #18 in Brock Township, Durham Region. It is a calm, natural last resting place located beside a deep ravine with a small stream and pond. The property is adjacent to a working farm and depending on the year overlooks a field of waving grain, stately corn stalks, bales of hay or grazing cattle. Truly an idyllic setting.
Also located on the property is the building which housed Pinedale United Church before closing. The Church, operated by the Cemetery Board, serves as a community meeting place as well as a facility for many weddings, funerals and the annual Memorial Service.
